Security Officer -Secret Clearance Temporary Post

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Specialist in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecom location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing routine reports, relaying important information, and following Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
