Security Guard Full Time Patrol Job in Memphis, Tennessee

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Use your customer service and communication skills, along with computer or tablet tools, to report observations and respond to security-related needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and tenant inquiries, and maintain professional communication with property management and emergency responders.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
