Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Officer

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Officer in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the medical location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter grounds, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing people to appropriate departments and/or resources when needed.
- Assist with de-escalation support and other security-related duties in areas that may involve patient and visitor interaction, while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
