Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with access control and badge procedures. You will interact with visitors and staff, support daily operations, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter and designated areas, to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or unauthorized individuals and promptly report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Document observations, activities, and incidents in reports as directed by Allied Universal protocols and client expectations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management to support the security-related needs of the logistics and distribution facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge procedures is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Previous experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
