Security Officer Security Presence Patrol Job in Memphis, Tennessee

As a Security Officer Security Presence Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-related areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
- Report observed hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
