Security Officer Armed Patrol Inspection Job in Merrimack, New Hampshire

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Inspection in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to authorized personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and restricted-access points; report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and respond to alarms, access-control notifications, and other incidents in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Carry authorized equipment and perform assigned duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
