Security Officer - Digital Center Job in Mesa, Arizona

As a Security Officer - Digital Center in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at manufacturing, industrial, and telecommunications locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
