As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, engaging with visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive experience for visitors and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with visitors, employees, and Allied Universal management to relay information and follow instructions.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of activities within the retail environment.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
