As a Security Professional - Distribution Patrols in Mesquite, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Your presence and communication skills will be key in supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain visibility throughout the location to help to deter potential problems and provide a reassuring presence for personnel and visitors.
• Document all incidents and/or issues encountered during patrols and communicate relevant information to the appropriate Allied Universal and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
