Security Officer Reception Security

As a Security Officer Reception Security in Miami Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help promote a professional environment while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first, always acting with integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access permissions, and document visitor traffic according to site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Support access control functions by helping to monitor entry points, issuing visitor credentials, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Complete required logs, reports, and front desk documentation while maintaining professional communication with employees, guests, and/or vendors.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
