Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovation.

- Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by checking credentials, observing visitor movement, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports on daily activity, incidents, and/or hazards, and communicate with supervisors, local personnel, and public agency contacts regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
