What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients and employees at the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation protocols as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter, both inside and outside the financial institution, to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
• Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide assistance as needed.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Remain alert to environmental or operational changes that could impact the security-related needs of the location, and communicate any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, following established procedures and direction from supervisory staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
