- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and community policies at a residential location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, and maintain required logs and/or records related to property access and security-related activity.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including common areas, gates, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Communicate clearly with residents, visitors, property management, and Allied Universal personnel regarding access procedures, post orders, and/or incidents requiring follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
