Security Officer Customer Service Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Customer Service Driving Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations across the property while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access-related issues, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
