Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while reflecting a caring culture built on reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government buildings, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by communicating with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public, providing directions and assistance while following post orders and reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- A college degree is required.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 or more years of age.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
