Security Officer - Government Site Dispatch - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Government Site Dispatch - Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting security-related operations at a government location. Your duties will involve monitoring communications, coordinating response efforts, and assisting team members to help to deter incidents. You will also provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology to document and relay important information. Your contributions will promote a secure environment for all, reflecting Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $21.56 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
• Receive and document calls and reports of incidents, emergencies, or unusual activities, relaying information to appropriate Allied Universal team members and/or local authorities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all incoming and outgoing communications, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.
• Assist with coordinating security-related responses to incidents, ensuring timely communication and support between on-site personnel and external responders.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and requests for assistance from staff, visitors, and/or the public at the location.
• Support Allied Universal personnel by providing real-time information and updates during incidents and critical situations.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to communications, emergency response, and incident reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
