Security Officer Part Time Patrol Role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols while reporting unusual conditions to the appropriate contact.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by maintaining a visible presence, observing high-traffic areas, and/or communicating clearly with site personnel and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
