Security Officer Patrol Ambassador

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public-facing government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support visitors with strong communication and customer service. In this dynamic environment, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to each shift while helping create a welcoming experience for everyone on site.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government cultural location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, offices, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when assistance is needed.
- Support asset protection efforts by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and following instructions for after-hours checks, opening, and/or closing procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
