Security Officer Property Inspection Driver Job in Miami, Florida

As a Security Officer Property Inspection Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to assist visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with mall personnel. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail mall, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
