As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong customer service skills will contribute to a positive experience for everyone onsite. This role requires you to interact with individuals in a professional manner, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with both team members and site contacts. If you meet the Allied Universal driver policy requirements, you may also be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor manufacturing and industrial areas for any unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting findings as needed.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or other concerns encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
