Security Officer Clinical Entrance Specialist

As a Security Officer Clinical Entrance Specialist in Middletown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff, manage access and visitor procedures, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting patients, visitors, and staff, verifying access permissions, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a healthcare location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, assist with visitor management and badge processes, and help to address questions, directions, and routine front desk requests in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, urgent situations, and security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency contacts when needed.
- Observe entrances, waiting areas, and adjacent front desk spaces for unusual activity, document relevant details, and report concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, handling incoming calls and/or inquiries, and communicating clearly with staff, guests, and supervisors regarding front desk activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
