Elite Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver Job in Midland, Texas

As a Elite Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
