Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour
Location: Security Shift Supervisor - Global Tech and Manufacturing Company - Milpitas, CA.
Schedule: Full Time, Evening Shifts, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday and Monday OFF)

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor.
The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting;
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, may be required to pass Drivers Record check

The Physical Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all contract security operations during the assigned shift. This includes supervising personnel, ensuring compliance with security protocols, managing incidents, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and performance across the team.
a. Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise all contract security staff on the assigned shift, including scheduling, training, payroll oversight, motivation, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
Provide operational guidance and direction during routine, urgent, and emergency situations, ensuring alignment with Owner policy and sound judgment.
Serve as a role model by maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
b.Training & Development:
Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and refresher training for existing personnel.
Ensure all officers are CPR and First Aid certified and current on required site-specific training.
Meet with new employees prior to field training to review expectations, policies, emergency response procedures.
Document and track all training activities and submit records to the account manager or supervisor.
c. Operational Oversight:
Administer responsibilities related to emergency response, access control, key issuance, lost and found, property movement, and incident investigations.
Ensure all officers are cross-trained and prepared before being assigned to posts independently.
Provide relief coverage for posts as needed.
d.Performance Standards: Ensure all officers meet or exceed expectations in the following areas:
Appearance and grooming.
Site and job knowledge.
Respect for others and adherence to anti-harassment policies.
Understanding of post and general orders.
Pass-down procedures.
Safety and emergency response readiness.
Customer service skills.
e. Incident Management & Reporting:
Review and ensure quality assurance of all incident reports, daily security reports, and required documentation.
Promptly report all personnel concerns, including workers' compensation issues, to the account manager or HR as appropriate.
Notify the account manager or designee of significant incidents, including emergencies, law enforcement involvement, or operational malfunctions.
f. Communication & Coordination:
Maintain open communication between officers and management.
Relay schedule changes, vacation requests, payroll discrepancies, and other personnel matters to the account manager or designated representative.
Ensure officers are informed of updates from senior management and implement new policies and procedures accordingly.
g. Scheduling & Coverage:
Address call-offs and late arrivals by coordinating coverage or holding posts as needed.
Communicate all scheduling adjustments to the scheduling lead for payroll tracking.
Collaborating with the scheduling leads to resolving shift vacancies, especially after hours.
h. Recognition & Morale:
Launch and maintain an Employee Engagement Recognition Program to celebrate outstanding contributors, enhance morale, and promote retention.
Recommend outstanding officers for recognition to the account manager or security lead.
i.Equipment & Facility Oversight:
Maintain accountabilities for all assigned equipment, including vehicles, ensuring readiness and safe use.
Conduct post inspections and training drills to reinforce job knowledge and emergency preparedness.
Assess officer needs and notify leadership of supply or equipment requirements.
k. Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the account manager or site leadership.
l.Minimum Requirements/Job Responsibilities:
At least 21 years of age.
Two (2) years' previous security experience or one year in a leadership role is required.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Valid & Clean DMV record.
Excellent reading and writing skills and capable of effectively communicating with all levels of management at KLA.
Computer experience including typing skills needed (proficiency with Microsoft Office programs).
Experience with operation of CCTV systems, Access Control System, two-way radio communication.
Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
