Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with inquiries related to access control and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation and communication procedures specific to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
