Security Officer - Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your visible presence and active engagement help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This armed position requires professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills as you work closely with property management and the public. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and address any security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.
• Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal policies regarding the carrying and use of authorized weapons and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions and provide information.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possessing a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
