As a Security Officer - Down Town - Overnight in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations and assist with access control and incident reporting while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, people first, team driven, and grounded in integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

A Valid Driver's License is required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or operations location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at gates, entrances, and interior checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing employees, contractors, and drivers according to site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and other facility systems where assigned, and initiate appropriate notifications and/or response steps based on post orders.
  • Perform vehicle and/or property checks where permitted, including checking for unsecured doors, suspicious conditions, and operational hazards, and reporting concerns through the designated chain of command.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by observing truck arrivals and departures, maintaining logs, and helping to keep traffic flow orderly in loading dock and yard areas.
  • Complete detailed reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs in a timely manner, using Allied Universal reporting tools and site-required formats.
  • Maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with visitors and employees, and provide directions and assistance as needed while following site-specific policies.
  • Participate in required training, briefings, and post-specific drills, and follow all Allied Universal and client guidelines for conduct, appearance, and communications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
