Security Officer Full Time Access Control Job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in West Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible presence that helps deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and/or policy concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
