As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour
Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when needed.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, transit personnel, and emergency responders regarding security-related incidents and observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
