As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document incidents, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
- Support daily property operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
