As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities setting, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve interacting with staff and visitors, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats, with particular attention to areas critical to utility operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and protect infrastructure.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and site personnel when required to address incidents or emergencies.
• Complete thorough and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs related to security-related events and observations.
• Follow directives from Allied Universal and site management while upholding the highest standards of customer service and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
