Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver Job in Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a professional location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a medical device manufacturing and business location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and providing assistance consistent with Allied Universal and client expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
