As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor visitor, vendor, and employee movements, verifying credentials and logging entries and/or exits as required by location policy.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting personnel and visitors according to site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly and with problem-solving skills to incidents and critical situations as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within and around the location’s perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity.
• Follow site-specific and Allied Universal procedures for reporting and documenting incidents, including security-related and emergency events.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by the location, supporting evacuation or lockdown protocols as directed by management and/or law enforcement.
• Collaborate with team members and site staff to maintain a visible presence and help to deter potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
