As a Security Officer Driver in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service and communication that help to support security-related operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control access to the location in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Communicate with site personnel regarding deliveries, arrivals, and/or unusual activity, helping to support orderly operations and security-related awareness.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
