Security Officer Entry Control

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist with visitor and vehicle access, and perform routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support daily operations with strong customer service, communication, and integrity as part of the Allied Universal team.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and driver activity in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Support security-related operations by reporting unusual activity, monitoring restricted areas, and helping to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
