As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to create a secure environment at a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with visitors, customers, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. In this armed and driving role, you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, contributing to a culture that puts people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with store personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
• Remain alert and attentive while on patrol to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or disruptive behavior within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III armed certification if working in Texas.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
