Security Officer Driver Visitor Checkpoint

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues.
- Document daily activities, access events, and incident details in required reports, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
