As a Security Professional - Access Control - Unarmed in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in access control by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, managing badge access, and remaining visible to support a secure environment. You will interact with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with enforcing site rules and regulations as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site's policies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
