Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control professional. In this driving post, you will monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity, you will play an important role in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, process visitor access, and maintain required logs and reports related to security-related activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, restricted areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
