As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted zones.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Assist with access control and visitor management processes in accordance with location protocols.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to address concerns, answer questions, and provide information regarding security-related matters.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies while promoting a welcoming environment within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
