As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will assist tenants and visitors with a customer-first approach, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Perform unarmed patrol duties while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with access control and/or visitor direction as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and/or property damage.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances and exits, help to confirm authorized access, and report irregularities such as propped doors, damaged locks, and/or unauthorized persons.
• Observe and report activities and conditions that may present a risk to people and/or property, including loitering, trespassing, and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports using written and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate updates to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with after-hours checks such as securing doors, checking lighting, and reporting hazards or facility issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Support emergency procedures by coordinating with property management and responding public services when needed, and providing clear directions to responders.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and provide consistent customer service while enforcing site rules and policies in a respectful manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
