You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for authorized occupants and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
