As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate daily operations by monitoring alarms and cameras, dispatching officers to calls for service, and documenting activity with clear, professional communication. You will help to maintain an orderly environment while delivering customer-focused support to tenants and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch center for a commercial real estate location by monitoring phones, radios, alarm panels, and/or video systems for security-related activity.
• Receive calls for service, assess the situation, and dispatch officers and/or maintenance or emergency resources per site procedures.
• Document all calls, radio traffic, incidents, and follow-up actions in logs and incident reports using clear, detailed, and timely reporting.
• Coordinate responses to access control issues such as lockouts, credential questions, and visitor entry requests, escalating to property management when needed.
• Monitor for unusual activity and help to deter policy violations by communicating observations to on-site personnel and requesting patrol checks when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to staff and visitors during emergencies.
• Maintain situational awareness of building operations, scheduled events, and tenant needs to support timely dispatching and consistent customer service.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and first responders, relaying accurate information and directions to the correct location.
• Perform routine checks of dispatch equipment and report equipment issues to supervision and/or the appropriate support team per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
