Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed driving officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate site channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and support access control operations for restricted areas.
- Document incidents, daily activities, and/or patrol findings with attention to detail, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
