Security Officer with Active Clearance Rover

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors entering and exiting restricted or sensitive areas, following site protocols for access control and visitor processing.
- Support day-to-day security-related operations by completing reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and assisting with policy enforcement in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
