As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic healthcare location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff, visitors, and patients to provide excellent customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility throughout the location, and respond promptly to security-related situations, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, following established protocols and maintaining a calm, problem-solving approach.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a professional manner, documenting details as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual or suspicious activity, and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behaviors and promote a sense of security.
• Communicate and interact with individuals on site in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing rules and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
