As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol- Financial Site in Mount Vernon, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the banking location, including the exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations and incidents according to site requirements.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, communicating professionally with stakeholders, and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
