As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Recognition in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and donors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital foundation offices, public areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
