What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of authorized personnel and visitors at the aerospace and defense location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas, following established site procedures.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security-related protocols specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related breaches, or incidents according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal leadership to support site-specific security-related objectives and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
