Security Officer Access Control
As a Security Officer Access Control in Mullins, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations by following post orders, documenting details, and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to gates, doors, loading areas, and other access-sensitive points within a food and beverage environment.
- Support shipping, receiving, and delivery access by checking identification, confirming authorization, and helping to deter disruptions to normal site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
