Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, grounds, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to verify credentials, visitor activity, deliveries, and/or vendor access in accordance with site protocols and assigned post orders.
- Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or operational concerns, and reporting security-related issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
